Sizing and Pricing
Pricing is determined by the size and complexity of the painting. Each size has a starting base price, no matter which option you choose.
I offer 4 sizes for your convenience.
Add ons, such as backgrounds, decoration, and additional subjects (such as extra pets or people) will be avaliable with an additional charge.
These can be selected on the order form.

A more affordable option. Mini paintings are much smaller, more stylized, and less detailed than my other options.

How It Works
Here is a complete walkthrough of my custom artwork process.
I ask you to please read this completely BEFORE placing an order. This guide breaks down the steps, so you know what to expect. This also allows me to ensure that you will get exactly what you want!
STEP ONE: Preparation
Read through the whole process
Decide what the main subject of your painting is (eg. pets, buildings, landscapes, or people), and decide which size you would like.
Gather reference photos for your painting. At least one is required, but 2-5 are recommended, if possible. Please ensure these are clear, and show everything you want me to include.
If you want the whole body of your pet- don’t just choose a photo of their face!
STEP TWO: Beginning the Order
Select ORDER NOW at the top or bottom of this page to go to my Commission Shop.
Then, select your product based on the size and subject of your choice.
You will see products listed for all four subject options in three sizes each. Select only the one that applies to what you’d like!
Example: If you want a medium sized pet painting, select “PET- MEDIUM”.
Be careful not to select the incorrect subject or size.
The only exception to this is the MINI painting, which just has one listing, no matter the subject.
Once you select your size and subject, you will see drop-down options for add-ons.
The available options will vary depending on which product you selected, but these are most common:
STEP THREE: ADD-ONS
Background allows you to choose what you would like the background of your painting to be.
Note: This option is not available for Landscape or Buildings- as background is included in those.
“None” or “Color” - No additional charge.
None will leave the background white.
Color will add a solid color or gradient background.
Your color choice can be entered on the order form.
“Simple” or “Decoration” +$15
A Simple background would include adding limited environmental details to the painting- such as the ground, grass, a fence, a rug, or something else.
A Decorated background would show your subject surrounded by my illustrations, such as florals, nature, swirls, et cetera.
“Complex” +$30.
A Complex background will contain a full-color background with much more detail. A reference picture is encouraged.
Additional Subjects allows you to add more people or pets to your order.
The base price of each painting includes one subject.
For pet or people portraits, that means one person or pet is included. For buildings or landscape, the building or landscape IS the subject that is included.
However, I can add additional subjects to any painting (with the exception of the “mini” size). I can add more pets to your pet portrait, paint you and your pet, add your family into the landscape from your last vacation, or do anything else you could think of.
Each subject beyond the first one will be an additional $25.
For example, a portrait of three people would be the base price, plus +$50 total for the two additional people.
You can combine background and subject options to your liking.
After you’ve made your selection on backgrounds and additional subjects,
press continue to proceed to the order form.
STEP FOUR: The Custom Order Form
After you press continue, the Custom Order Form will pop up.
This part is crucial- as it helps me customize your painting!
The form will be slightly different, depending on the subject of your painting, but here is a quick break down of what I ask for and why I ask for it, so you can be prepared.
YOUR INFORMATION: I ask for your name, email, and phone number, as well as your preferred contact method. This is so I can reach out with questions, and get your final approval on the piece before it is shipped.
ORDER INFORMATION: The following prompts ask you questions about what you would like in the painting. This will vary based on subject. Here are some of the fields you may see:
PET/PLACE NAME: I like to title my work with the name of the pet or place I am painting. I ask for the name to add a personal touch!
PET BREED: This is just for my reference, as it helps me to know the exact breed of the pet while painting.
ORIENTATION: Here, you can choose if you’d like the painting to have a horizontal or vertical orientation.
REFERENCE PHOTOS: In order to capture the subject truthfully, I need reference photos. Please upload photos for every subject, background, or other element you would like included. I can combine multiple photos into one painting.
PET/SUBJECT NOTES: This section allows you to tell me more specific information about the pet, person, or place. Here, you can tell me exactly how you would like the subject to appear. You can use this to tell me the pose, position, or specific features you would like highlighted.
SPECIAL REQUESTS: Here, you can tell me anything else I should know. Do you want me to copy a photo exactly, except for one pesky detail? Is there a particular way you want the subjects aligned? Would you like me to paint your dog in a life jacket on a kayak?
I can do it- just let me know!
Once you are completed with the form, the product order will be saved to your cart. Click on the Shopping Cart icon in the top right of the page to view your cart and check out.
STEP FIVE: Connection and Creation
I will begin working on your painting shortly after you checkout.
PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR ME TO CONTACT YOU THROUGHOUT MY CREATIVE PROCESS. Though I do my best to capture exactly what you want based on your requests and the photo references submitted, I do not know these subjects as well as you do! In order to ensure that you are completely satisfied, I may contact you for a few reasons.
Questions: If I have questions about your order form, or need to clarify, I will reach out to ensure you get what you want!
Final Approval: It is my top priority to ensure that YOU are happy with the finished product before I ship your commissioned piece. In order to do so, I will send watermarked photos when the piece is nearing completion, so you can see it before I finalize it.
Don’t be shy… this is your chance to let me know if there’s something that seems a little bit off about the piece, whether the dog’s eyes should be bigger, the sky should be bluer, or anything else! I’m happy to keep working until you are 100% satisfied- that’s my priority!
Once you are completely satisfied with your piece, I will ship it to you, and provide tracking details and an estimated delivery date. I will also send you a clear, un-watermarked photo so you can have a digital copy to post on your social media or share with your friends.
Additional Information and FAQ’s

My schedule is very busy between commissions and other summer internships. Depending on demand, my wait time may vary. At this moment, please allow at least four weeks between the order date and anticipated delivery. I will work faster than this sometimes, but regardless, I will keep you updated on the status of your order.
If you’re looking for something for a particular date, such as a holiday or birthday, please let me know and I will do my best to fit that timeline, if possible. Please order at least a month in advance for time sensititve gifts.

At the moment, all of my commissions will be created using gouache paint on heavy duty watercolor paper.
Other mediums and paintings on canvas are not currently avaliable through the online shop. If this is a problem for your vision, reach out and we can discuss alternative options.

My artwork is customized to you. Many times, I will be painting a person, pet, or place I have never seen, aside from the pictures you provide. Simply put, I do not know these subjects as well as you do. I can sometimes miss small details that you would notice more than me.
In order to make sure you are happy with the final product, and that what I paint actually looks like the subject, I will be in contact with you,
When in contact with you, I may ask questions about the order, send pictures of the sketch or painting for your approval, and/or provide updates on the status of your painting and estimated completion.

I am a young artist at the beginning of my career, and all of the work I create is going into my portfolio. If you are comfortable with it, I may use photos of your painting on my social media, or here on my website, for portfolio and promotional reasons, and to show my latest work. I will never attatch your personal information to this- I will only share my own artwork.
If you’re not comfortable with this, that’s fine. Just select “No” under “Permissions” at the end of the Custom Order Form.

No worries! The options I have provided in my shop are the most common things I make, and putting them online like this makes the process easier for me and you.
However, I am not limited to what is shown on my store. I am happy to work with you directly to create something unique as well.

Due to the custom nature of this service, I do not provide refunds or returns. Instead, I offer a satisfaction guarantee. My priority is your happiness- and I strive to make sure you are completely satisfied with the product you receive.
In the unlikely event of an issue with the order, such as an inability to complete the piece or a shipping mishap, I will work with you on a case-by-case basis to replace or refund the order at my discretion.
I retain the right to refuse or cancel any order if necessary. In this highly unlikely case, a full refund will be issued.

If you order through my shop, you will have the option to pay through Credit Card or Paypal. You will also have the ability to utilize Afterpay and Apple Pay.
If you order directly through me, such as through an email, I can only accept Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal.
Due to safety reasons, I cannot accept checks.
