Winter Activities in the White Mountains

Roles: Research, Content Creation, Marketing Strategy, Design, Typography, Branding, Illustration, Animation, Copywriting

A sequence showcasing 7 winter activities in the White Mountains, in the style of a social media story such as Instagram or Facebook.

This was one of my first experiences with motion design and animation.

Using my own knowledge of the North Conway Area, as well as supplemental research, and my skills in digital illustration, I created 9 animated slides that are intended to play as the viewer taps through an Instagram or Facebook story, all while ending in a call to action for the viewer to learn more about the area, leading to a webpage such as this.

For ease of displaying the project, I compiled all these animations into one video that can be seen below, which mimics the user tapping through the story.

Despite a few hiccups in the animation, I am proud of this project, both for showcasing something near and dear to my heart such as the White Mountains, as well as showing where I started with my animation skills. In the years that have passed since I created this in Fall of 2022, my skills in both copywriting and motion graphics have only improved and I am excited to see & show where else these skills take me.
